Local Issues
The Stanislaus County Farm Bureau participates in the local government process in a number of ways. Our members and staff serve on a variety of boards, commissions and committees that help create and guide local policies in agricultural viability, governance and land use planning.
Some of the things that we are currently working on are the North County Corridor Project, the Stanislaus County Regional Transportation Plan, the Agriculture Advisory Board, numerous city General Plan Updates, the Riverbank Sustainable Ag Strategies process and the Stanislaus County Ag Element.
